altInterMapper adds network monitoring and mapping to QDS data center equipment management portfolio

Lebanon, NH/Hong Kong, April 28, 2009 – Dartware LLC, developers of InterMapper network monitoring and management software has announced a new partnership with Quantum Data Systems ("QDS") headquartered in Hong Kong. QDS distributes proven IT and facility solutions to data centers and other operations. Network management, IT asset management, facility management, and publishing automation solutions are focused on maximizing value while minimizing risk. QDS will serve as the premier distributor of InterMapper in Hong Kong and Macau.

"Dartware has been partnering with established technical firms that use InterMapper to add real value to existing product and service portfolios," explains John Sutton, Director of Sales at Dartware. "We were thrilled to find QDS. Not only do they cover a large and growing geographic market, they include InterMapper in overall solutions that help companies manage highly efficient IT infrastructures."

InterMapper network monitoring software graphically maps network infrastructures, monitors device performance, traffic, and NetFlow, and alerts network administrators to under-performing devices and unacceptable traffic conditions. Diagnostic and performance trend information is a click away. The graphical presentation of data makes it easy for technicians to spot, locate, and fix problems before networks fail.

"As soon as we saw an InterMapper demonstration we knew that our customers could really benefit," said Ricardo Siu, Director and Business Development Manager at QDS. "We serve large, network-dependent customers, covering major banking & financial institutes, public utilities, insurance companies, casinos, and multi-national corporations. With InterMapper, they'll have real-time, at-a-glace access to their distributed network devices. Using traffic and NetFlow reports they'll quickly spot IP addresses that are generating unexpected traffic without having to dig through log files."

Dartware met QDS at a Gold Key Service meeting arranged through the United States Commercial Service (USCS). The Gold Key service helps US-based companies identify and make contact with international partners that fit their business model and market strategy. "QDS is one of several partners we've found through the Gold Key service. The New Hampshire Department of Commerce, Commercial Service, which implements the program in our state, has given us great support and a very efficient way to pursue strategic partners like QDS," says Sutton.

QDS has begun distributing InterMapper throughout its geographic region.
