Server Monitoring

InterMapper server monitoring continually measures the response time of your servers. Alerts are sent when the service stops operating, the response time exceeds your thresholds, or some other problem is detected.

Monitor

  • Host resources
  • WMI
  • Exchange Server
  • SQL Server and Oracle servers
  • Barracuda Spam Filter (and other Spam filters)
  • Lights out management (LOM)

The Host Resources probe (RFC 2790) provides a powerful view on the CPU, disk, and memory state of your server using SNMP v1, v2c, or v3. Windows Services ("NT Services") are monitored directly, and you can receive an alert if a particular service stops operating.

InterMapper does not require agents to perform application or service monitoring. Standard Nagios® and Big Brother™ plugins retrieve information from network devices. In addition, InterMapper facilitates the creation of custom probes to test TCP or SNMP enabled devices.
