Cross-platform Support with InterMapper

InterMapper features the only network mapping software that runs on a wide variety of operating systems, including: Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and Solaris.

Our unique cross-platform development process, allows us to offer our network monitoring, mapping and alerting software on the widest variety of operating systems of any of our competitors.

InterMapper utilizes one agnostic code base which runs on multiple platforms. The various platforms enable interoperability - allowing our customers to run the InterMapper server on a Windows box, while at the same time stakeholders can implement InterMapper RemoteAccess on a Mac, for example, to view the same maps.

No other network monitoring tool gives you this kind of flexibility.

Network Monitoring for Windows

InterMapper, the gold standard for real-time network monitoring, mapping and alerting for the Windows OS,  delivers a highly efficient monitoring engine capable of polling every second with a low polling overhead.  As the only affordable, fully-featured, real-time network monitoring tool on the market, every size organization can benefit from its power, flexibility and ease-of-use.  Fully integrated with all the features you need, it is easy to purchase -- with no add-ons to buy.

InterMapper runs on Window 7, Vista, XP and Windows Server 2008/2003

Network Monitoring for Mac OS X

Many network monitoring tools support troubleshooting the performance of machines using the Mac OS X operating system.  But only one commercially available real-time network monitoring system can natively run on the Mac OS X platform.

InterMapper was initially developed back on the 1990’s on the Mac (originally on a Mac II si).  Only later was a Windows version created.  InterMapper has the graphical user interface you have come to expect on the Mac platform.

InterMapper runs on Mac OS X 10.5 and newer, including Lion, Snow Leopard and Leopard.

Network Monitoring for Linux

InterMapper runs on many of the popular Linux distributions.

Keep in mind, customers who install InterMapper on a headless server will need to use either some type of remote desktop access program that supports remote sounds or a copy of InterMapper RemoteAccess.

InterMapper runs on Red Hat, Fedora, SuSe, Ubuntu, Debian and others.  In addition, to these supported Linux operating systems, InterMapper also runs on unsupported platforms such as Linux Mint, CentOS and FreeBSD

Network Monitoring for Solaris

Many network monitoring tools support troubleshooting the performance of machines using the Solaris operating system.  But only one commercially available network monitoring system runs on the Solaris platform.

If you want to run real-time, powerful and easy to use network monitoring software on Solaris – InterMapper is your only choice.

InterMapper runs on both Solaris Sparc and Solaris x86.
